In The Trenches: Studies, Musings and On-Going Investigations is a multimedia exhibition that seeks to highlight on-going studio experimentations with content and medium. The exhibition features a variety of early drawings and sculptural maquettes by John Cox, in-progress sculpture and painting by Kendall Hanna, photographic studies by Michael Edwards and Heino Schmid, chin colle prints by Sue Katz and mixed media paintings by Jason Bennett and Anya Antonovych Metcalf. The focus of the exhibition is to allow the viewing public an opportunity to question the role of the art object as it pertains to the individual preliminary studio practices of these participating artists.
