Friday, February 8th, 2013 was an active day at Popop, not unlike most other days. With thirteen artists in the Popop community there is always something going on. Today, a shirtless Dylan was working hard creating art for his upcoming show – “Tickle Me Pink” – a joint exhibition with fellow artist, studio mate and girlfriend Dede Brown. That’s happening March 8 at the Central Bank of the Bahamas.

Kendal Hanna was reading the newspaper, as he does every day. And every day, if you are willing to hear it, he will fill you in on the news or offer his opinions. His opinions, by the way, are worth listening to.

I caught Tyler strumming his guitar for a moment, as he took a break from the many other things he was up to, such as planning creative collaborations.

I was in my studio that day working on The Bahamian Project. We were photographing Kareem Mortimer.

Katrina was downstairs with Jay sorting through the many… many sketches that were done during our recent (and very successful) fundraiser – Sketch24. Many thanks to all involved. Coco our dog, who accompanies us to the studio frequently, was also having a look at the sketches.
