Popopstudios International Center for the Visual Arts is holding this unique fundraiser in aid of our residency program. For the last three years Popop has facilitated both international and local residency programs, which have brought tremendous credibility and visibility to the Bahamian art movement.

Popopstudios plans on hosting a 24-hour “drawing challenge” entitled Sketch24, which will start on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 3:00pm and end exactly 24 hours later on Saturday April 30th, 2011 at 3:00pm.

Three hours later, on that same Saturday at 6:30pm, Popop will host a formal opening where all the works created in the previous 24 hours will go on display with hopes of raising enough funds to completely refurbish our dining facility. It is our intention to make Sketch24 an annual fundraising event.

Drawings created during the 24 hour period will be on display in our main gallery and available for purchase.

Large drawings – $500.
Small drawings – $350.
