Popopstudios Center For The Visual Arts Presents “Place Image Here” – A Visual Discussion of the Relationship Between Text and Imagery.  Featuring new work by Dionne Benjamin-Smith / Dylan Rapillard / Holly Parotti / Kachelle Knowles / John Cox / Sue Bennett-Williams.

The exhibition opens as part of the 2011 Transforming Spaces Tour on Saturday April 2 – Sunday April 3 / 10 am – 4 pm.

Several Popop artists are participating in the Transforming Spaces Tour this year showing work at some of the other galleries.

Jace McKinney is displaying work at New Providence Art & Antiques in the exhibit “Dreaming”, along with Allan P. Wallace, Omar Richardson, Damaso Gray, and Kishan Munroe. Kishan is currently working out of PopopStudios on a temporary basis.

The Hub is featuring Heino Schmid‘s “Equilibrium II”.

Doongalik Studios plans to amaze the public with the degree of creativity that has been produced by numerous artists including Popop’s founder John Cox, and longtime resident artist Kendal Hanna.
