Bahamian Collection Opens July 11 At The NAGB

You are invited to attend the Opening Reception and official launch of The Bahamian Collection on Thursday, July 11th, 2013 at 6:30pm at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.

Forty black-&-white portrait photographs, taken by Duke of Nassau in the first year of the ongoing Bahamian Project, will be unveiled as The Bahamian Collection under the patronage of the Governor General and Lady Foulkes as part of the Bahamas’ 40th Independence Anniversary celebrations.

One of the goals of the Bahamian Project is to inspire the creation of a permanent collection of photographs to provide recognition, foster cultural awareness and create a record of the people who make The Bahamas so unique.

Open to the public, free admission
