The Small Art Auction House is designed to be a fun take on the traditional auction house and will be comprised of a live-auction of “postcard” sized artworks donated by over 50 Bahamian and international artists, including several Popop-based artists.

Last night the Popop community of artists enjoyed an engaging and pertinent discussion about what the artwork being done by the Popopstudios Junior Residency Prize winners.
A discussion/critique will take place every Tuesday at 6:00pm to keep the dialogue and energy alive. Feel free to come by and be a part of the conversations.
NAGB’s Chief Curator John Cox and Education Officer Jordia Benjamin are the hosts on today’s radio talk show “Blank Canvas”. They will be talking with Bahamian artists Carla Campbell and Katrina Cartwright.

Popopstudios junior resident prize winner, Veronica Dorsett, is on of the actresses on the brand new TV soap opera “Gippie’s Kingdom”. Created by Dr. Ian Strachan, the soap is a first for local Bahamian television channels that feature few locally-made shows.
Popopstudios’ Education Officer, Katrina Cartwright has secured three prominent, well-respected professional Bahamian artists as the instructors for the camp. They are: Carla Campbell, Jace McKinney and Michael Edwards.
Popop is very pleased to announce that June Collie has adopted Anejo. Though we miss him at Popop, we are most relieved and simply overjoyed that he is in a good home with June and her family.
