Children aged 5 to 8 are exploring a variety of disciplines and techniques in the Art Basics class at Popopstudios. The class is taught by Popop-based artist Phoebe Luk.

Projects have included making their own aprons out of old T-shirts, teaching them how to recycle materials, collage, still life drawings and papier mâché. Field trips are also organized such as their recent trip to the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas (NAGB) to learn about Junkanoo art.
