Born in 1936, Kendal Hanna is one of the forerunners of abstract painting in The Bahamas. In his fifty plus years in art, Hanna has consistently challenged form and content in both his paintings and recent experiments with sculpture. A growing recognition of his contributions to art in The Bahamas has placed his work in many significant private and public collections.
