Bahamian Artist Showcased in VOLTA NY Art Fair
VOLTA NY is an invitational show of emerging solo artists’ projects and the American incarnation of the successful young fair founded in Basel in 2005. The fourth exhibition of duo Dede Brown and Dylan Rapillard – “Tickle Me Pink”, which opens Friday, March 8 at the Central Bank of The Bahamas gallery, takes on a noticeably lighter tone than their last exhibition, “Peep Show”. It’s also a testament to the two-year lapse between their much-awaited display, providing enough breathing room to explore new artistic directions.
