Patrons expecting the usual display of colorful work at the Colour of Harmony exhibition instead came upon a coup of sorts by the College of the Bahamas art majors. The students displayed paintings and unglazed ceramics in various shades of grey, conveying their collective shades of anger, grief, accusation, disappointment, betrayal and distress over what they believe has been a systematic denial of their rights to necessary space and equipment.
Ride for Hope Bahamas 2012
In the past 6 years, well over 1,000 riders have pedaled over 40,000 miles to raise money to help improve the lives of Bahamians with cancer. One of those riders each year has been Popopstudios founder, John Cox. In addition to being chief curator at the NAGB, director of Popopstudios, an instructor at the College of the Bahamas, an active artist and family man, Cox is also an avid cyclist.

Art Tours & Field Trips
Popopstudios International Center for the Visual Arts is establishing an initiative to connect with primary and secondary schools throughout Nassau, by offering a field trip package that includes a tour of multiple art spaces which will culminate in an art activity related to the work on display.
